Frequently Asked QuestionsYou can ONLY ship UPS GROUND to the following states: IN, IL, MI, OH, NY, PA, VA, NC, SC, AL, MS, LA, AK, MO, IA, MN, and WI. Is it safe to buy cheese from your online store? It is quite safe, actually. We process your order within three business days and our cheeses are packaged and shipped with cold packs to ensure freshness. What are your shipping rates and policies? We can ship our cheeses to anywhere in the Continental United States. If you are not within 100 miles of our cheese plant or have ordered during the hot summer months, we strongly recommend overnight or two-day shipping to ensure freshness and quality. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions during the summer months, we cannot guarantee anything less than overnight shipping. We want to give you the best value for your shipping dollar, but we also want the quality of the cheese to be maintained at our highest standards. We may advise you via email or phone if we think the level of shipping you have selected should be modified. If shipping our cheese as a gift, you MUST notify the recipient to ensure that someone will be available to receive the package. We will not be responsible for packages delivered and left unattended. When will my order be shipped? Orders placed on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays will be shipped on Mondays to avoid sitting in a shipping warehouse over the weekend. For any special requests, please email us at orders@fofarms.com Can I have a gift card shipped with my purchase? If you are sending a basket or any item as a gift, please let us know what you would like the gift enclosure card to say. Put this info in the "Special Instructions" box on the shopping cart page. How do I get a receipt? Please print out a copy of the receipt that you are emailed. We do not send receipts in the mail unless you ask for one, and we do not enclose them in the boxes, although we are happy to if you need one. Do you accept customized orders or special holiday orders? We offer customized gift boxes and will also customize your holiday or company gift purchases. To order a customized gift box, please call 877-536-1193 extension 11. What if my cheese is not available after I purchase it in your online store? At times, the quantity of some of our cheeses is limited. Although our web site is updated regularly, it is possible that an item that you purchase will be temporarily unavailable. In such case, we will ship as much of your order as possible and send the additional item(s) as soon as available. Should a product ordered become unavailable for any reason, a full refund will be processed. Will my information remain private and secured? The Fair Oaks Farms Online Store will never reveal your email address or any other personal information to anyone ever. Our online shopping system is 100% secure and uses SSL secure sockets.
